SaaS technology veteran brings over 20 years of experience operating and scaling global engineering functions

Bengaluru : AiDash, a leading provider of satellite- and AI-powered operations, maintenance, and sustainability platforms, announced the appointment of Sanjay Goel, as its Vice President of Engineering. An accomplished leader with over 20 years of experience in engineering and innovation across startups and tech giants, including Walmart Global Tech and Cleartrip.

Prior to AiDash, Goel was the Director of Engineering at Walmart Global Tech, where he led engineering to support multiple Walmart ecommerce markets, serving millions of Walmart customers. He was previously the Vice President of Engineering at Cleartrip, a global online travel company, where he played a key role in re-architecting services for scalability and stability while developing a people-first, tech-first culture. Goel is also an IIT Delhi alumni.

To strengthen and drive the continued success of its product lines, AiDash recently promoted Niharika Bhatnagar to Vice President of Product Management, overseeing development of the next generation of products. Previously, as Senior Director of Product Management, Bhatnagar introduced AiDash Intelligent Vegetation Management System (IVMS) and AiDash Disaster and Disruptions Management System (DDMS).

The company has seen tremendous growth in recent months with 3x growth year over year in annual recurring revenue (ARR) and number of customers. The company has already increased its Indian employee count 70% in the first eight months of 2022 – from 124 to 212 employees, plans to hire at least 150 more in the country in the next 12 months, and recently opened two new offices in India: a 200+ seat office at the SJR iPark in Whitefield, Bengaluru, and a 100+ seat office in the prestigious DLF Cyber City business park at Gurugram. These offices will host the growing Engineering, Data Science, Product, Design, Customer Success, GIS, and cross-functional teams. Headquartered in San Jose, California, AiDash also maintains other offices around the world.
