  • AirAsia embarks on FA recruitment road show. First stop, Goa

    Chennai :  AirAsia India, the latest affiliate of the AirAsia Group, embarks on a three-city road show in a quest to airasiasearch for flight attendant candidates for the airline’s flight operations in India, which is planned to be based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

    Goa has been chosen as the first stop, where the airline will be organizing a walk-in interview which will be held on 23 June 2013 at The Golden Palms Hotel & Spa, Beach Road, 4th Ward, Colva Salcette, Goa India, from 9am to 11am.

    AirAsia Group Head of Flight Attendants, Suhaila Hassan said, “We are looking for aspiring flight attendants who possess utmost passion for the job, outgoing personality, inexhaustible smile, boundless energy and good communication skills to join the great AirAsia family.     Male and female flight attendant candidates must be between 20 to 35 years old, possess the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC), must be fluent in spoken and written English in addition to a local language. Experienced flight attendants or fresh graduates of any discipline are also welcomed.

    Height requirements are 160cm minimum / 170cm maximum barefooted for female candidates, while for male candidates it is min. 170cm / max. 180cm bare feet.

    Applicants must bring a completed application form (downloadable at http://www.airasia.com/FA-application/form.html), recent resume, original and copies of ID & passport, original and copies of education certificate, one recent passport-sized colour photograph and one recent full-body colour photograph (postcard size).

    All candidates are must be dressed in business attire for the walk-in interview. For female candidates, they are required to wear knee-length skirts with full make up.

    Goa is the airline’s first stop, with two other Indian cities to be visited soon. The road show’s next stopover will be announced in the media and AirAsia’s social media channels.
