Recycling is a core focus, with discarded waste often serving as a focal point. Techniques are key, with each work mutating over long periods, resulting in textures and surfaces. This solo show showcases the slow unwinding process of time and techniques used to create final iterations. He is introspective and intuitive, exploring diverse subjects derived from memory, dreams, and imagination. According to Simran KS Lamba, “Tar and Art have always been synonymous in nature for me, in using Tar to create paintings, I believe that everyday materials get transposed into a realm where nuances of the said materials resonate in different and multiple ways, having found a new lease of life in the form of a new work of art.”
