Asha Joglekar with her choreography on the fiftieth year of celebrations of her mother’s Archana Nrityalaya, astounded one and all with her amazing choreography and performance along with the other students of the academy.

A visibly emotional Asha Joglekar talked about how as a child, Archana was asked by her, not to give her any material item, but a creation that has its roots in her learning. “Every year since then, Archana performs her choreography and so do all my other students. And some of the works are really amazing. This year, Archana has come from New Jersey taking time, specially to make this happen.”

Archana is very happy that her mother and Guru loved her offering. “My son Dhurva performed for his grandma as well. I have passed on the same Gurudakshina tradition to him as well.”
