Famous Bollywood singers Arijit Singh and Atif Aslam are expected to perform at the most high profile wedding scheduled to take place in the first weekend of December – Pallavi Lodha, daughter of Madhu and Parasmal Lodha (real estate baron with mining, global trading businesses and also part owner of Peerless Finance) will tie the knot with Rahul Jain (son of Seema and Dr. J. K. Jain, Chairman & Managing Director, FIEM Group – leading auto ancillary manufacturer with plants in India, Japan and Italy) on Sunday, December 7, 2014.

Functions are being held over the weekend at Lodha’s 150-acre farm at Chhaterpur, Delhi. Functions include Arabian Night on Friday (December 5); Mehendi & Sangeet as well as Mudda Tikka & Musical evening on Saturday (December 6); and grand wedding on Sunday (December 7) evening. The wedding is being held at a former Prime Minister’s house. The grandeur and opulence at this event is expected to be bigger and better than the one witnessed at Mr. Lodha’s elder daughter’s wedding in Udaipur in November 2013 when the who’s who arrived in over 22 private jets. For the Delhi wedding, entire Leela Palace Hotel and ITC Maurya Hotel has been booked for guests.

Singapore Prime Minister and Russian President Mr. V. Putin’s deputy are amongst the international dignitaries likely to attend the wedding. Some of India’s renowned national & state level politicians, celebrities, socialites and corporate head honchos (India’s leading business families) have also confirmed their presence.

Mr. Rahul Jain, the groom’s outfits are by Rohit Bal, Ankur Batra and Adarsh Gill. Dr. Jain, Chairman, FIEM Group, presented Rolls Royce Ghost to his to be daughter in law on engagement day.

The bride Ms. Pallavi Lodha graduated from European Business School, Regent College, London (Business Management and Finance) and did internships with American Express Bank. She also did a course at the Fashion Institute of Technology, New York. She has avid interest in Wealth Management, Fitness, Reading and Fashion Designing amongst others.

The groom Mr. Rahul Jain is a Wholetime Director of the publicly listed FIEM Industries Ltd.  He hails from a business family, which is one of the pioneers in the automotive lighting industry in India. After completing Sr. Secondary School from Modern School, New Delhi he has completed B.Sc. (Management) from the Indian Institute of Learning Management (IILM), New Delhi. He is involved in all the business activities of the Company and takes part in all strategic affairs, new initiatives and corporate planning of the Company.

Mr. Lodha is part owner of Kolkata based The Peerless General Finance & Investment Ltd., India’s largest private finance company finance, with this 32% stake. He has business interests in Real Estate, Finance, Mining interests in Africa. Over the last decade, he focused into real estate, has built large prime land bank in Delhi which for exceeds the valuation of Peerless. He has stakes in mining and trading business abroad. As Chairman of the World Peace Foundation, he manages various charitable trusts and is known for his powerful connections in India and abroad. Recently, he made Rs. 1,650 crore bid to buy Leela Palace, New Delhi. The bride’s maternal uncle is Jagdish Prasad Chowdhary, who                                      owns Titagarh Wagons Ltd, Cimmco Ltd and is Ex president, Confederation of Indian Industries (CII).

Dr. Jain, winner of several Awards including a Lifetime Achievement Award in the Field of Auto Lighting, is credited for having given a boost to the auto component manufacturing sector in Sonipat. The FIEM Group is making a foray into next generation LED lightings, India’s only fully integrated LED light manufacturing plant, rolling out full production next month adding to auto ancillary manufacturing plants in India, Japan and Italy.
