Asian shares today traded mixed after lacklustre Chinese economic data and worries about a delay in U.S. fiscal stimulus discouraged some investors from taking on risk.

However, China’s Shanghai Composite index gained 1.2 percent and Japan’s NIKKEI-225 added 0.2 percent.

On the other hand, South Korea’s KOSPI declined 1.2 percent, Singapore’s Straits times fell 0.6 percent and  Hong Kong’s Hang Seng slipped 0.2 percent.

European shares were tumbled in intra day trade. London’s FTSC-100 decline 1.5 percent, France’s CAC plunged 1.7 and Germany’s DAX fell one percent.
