We got the voltage stabiliser of Asiapower brand as we have used other products of Asiapower and have found them to be good.

When we opened the box, we found the Voltage Stabiliser was compact and heavy just like any voltage stabiliser. it had two sockets of of 5 pin holes which could accept many kinds of Indian and Foriegn power plugs. The power switch was at the side and after switching it on it started giving stable power within 2 seconds.

Since we are very paranoid and care a lot for our equipment, we first decided to checkout the inside of the Stabiliser and on opening it we were satisfied that we had made a right choice.

The large transformer was well made and its alloy plates were properly impregnated to give more efficiency and less noise, the wiring and the circuit board were also of superior quality and the soldered joints were well finished to give zero electrical resistance.

The electronic devices the we use, need a surge of power when switched on and then a continuous stable power and this stabiliser was able to manage both the surge and stable power to the 56″ LCD television, the BlueRay disc player, the settop box  and the audio system. Since the whole system is costing about 1.5 Lacs, we cannot take a chance with any stabiliser.

Once the stabiliser passed our standards of checking the internal components, we connected all our video and Audio systems to it and now after a month of daily use, we are happy with its performance and feel secure that our expensive equipment is protected against over-voltage, under-voltage and spikes, the stabiliser is able to provide power even if the input voltage goes down to as low as 120 volts from 240 volts.

The stabliser had provision for wall mounting which helped us to save space on the table and also was useful to manage the cables.
