  • Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Commonwealth Real Estate selects Ed Tranter as Sales Manager for new Belmont location

    NATICK and BELMONT, MA: Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Commonwealth Real Estate (http://commonmoves.com) today announced the appointment of Ed Tranter of Sudbury, MA as Sales Manager for the growing firm’s Belmont location.

    Tranter will lead the newly acquired office, formerly known as Century 21 Lawndale Adams, and its staff of 30+ sales associates. For more than three decades, the Belmont agency has been an industry leader, serving the needs of buyers and sellers in Belmont, Watertown, and vicinity.

    Tranter brings an impressive resume including, sales management, real estate, and leadership experience to his new role at Commonwealth. He previously served as Director of Sales and Marketing for the Boston based Pino Realty Group, where he led the agency’s marketing and sales efforts related to residential real estate.

    He has held senior-level sales positions at Adtech, an audio and visual communication technology company, as well as LogicMelon, a recruitment technology company.  Tranter was also Director of Sales – North America for Populus Global Solutions, Inc., a healthcare information strategy company.  He is the former Chief Operating Officer and Co-Owner of MacDirectory and Miami Living Magazines.

    Tranter, who was born in England and has lived in Canada and Singapore, resides in Sudbury. He is active in the community, serving as a hockey coach and board member for a local league.
