    Shirdi: Best Western India along with theGoradia Group today announced the setting up of The Best Western Goradia’sat Shirdi in Maharashtra. Best Western India is part of Best Western International the largest hotel chain in the world having over 4000 Hotels in 80 countries. The opening of the Hotel also makes it the first International Hotel Chain to venture in Shirdi. The Best Western Goradia’s also becomes Best Western India’s nineteenth online Hotel. While announcing the launch of operations The Honourable Minister for Agriculture, Govt of Maharashtra India, Shri Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil, said ” The advent of the 1st ever international Hotel Chain in Shirdi heralds our efforts to improve facilities for the millions of devotees of all religions, who come to pay homage to Shri Sai Baba. I congratulate Best Western Goradia’s in this pioneering effort”

    Currently operational with Twenty Four (24) rooms the Seventy Two (72) room property boasts of a host of facilities ranging from ‘On-line reservation, rooms, besides other set of facilities for the religious travellers visiting the holy city of”Shirdi Sai Baba”.

    Speaking during the occasion, Mr.Suresh M. Goradia, Managing Director, Goradia Group said, “The association with the Best Western brand will bring two most important components to this location. The foremost being, the international standard of hospitality and second being international bookings based out of their robust chain of hotels across the world.”

    Best Western Goradia’s is located behind Sai Udyan, Opposite to the main Samadhi Temple, Off Pimpalwadi Road, Rahata, Ahmedanagr. With less than 50 meters from the Shirdi Sai Baba;s Samadhi Mandir and about 75 km from the famous Shani Shingnapur, the Hotel is expected to attract good occupancy throughout the year.

    Best Western in India which recently set up its Best Western Centre For Hotel Management and Training at Bhubaneshwar, is setting scorching pace of growth for itself and are firmly committed to the India growth story of One Hundred Hotels in India by 2017. The Chain has added 10 hotels into its portfolio of operational hotels in 2010 taking the company from 9 operational hotels in 2009 to 19 operational hotels in 2010. Best Western India currently has sellable room inventory of around 1200 keys, which is expected to increase to around 2400 keys (30 hotels) by the end of 2011.

    We would be adding one Banquet Hall with a capacity of 1000 people, one Food Mall and a three level terrace to the existing infrastructure by 2012, further added Mr Goradia. Shirdi being an important religious destination, Best Western Goradia’s has taken utmost care in providing for the needs of a religious tourists with all the possible amenities required during their visit to this holy city.
