  • Bhanshali family of Enam group promoted SPV “Visual Percept Solar Projects Private Limited (VPSPPL) implements one of India’s largest solar photovoltaic projects”

    Mumbai:  Visual Percept Solar Projects Private Limited (VPSPPL), a subsidiary of Talma Chemical Industries Private Limited, which is owned by the Bhanshali family of the ENAM group, has commissioned a 25MW solar photovoltaic power project at Surel Village in the Surendranagar district of Gujarat. Under this project, VPSPPL has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) for a period of 25 years. The project is implemented under Phase II of Gujarat State Solar Power Policy 2009.

    Technology

    Multi crystalline silicon technology, which comes with a highly established track record has been used for this project, it is also the most reliable technology available.

    VPSPPL has procured Solar Modules from China based Hanwha Solar One and China Sun Energy which are the world’s leading Tier I Module Suppliers, also listed on the NASDAQ Stock Exchange, USA. The Inverters have been sourced from Italy based Power One, one of the world’s leading Inverter manufacturers. Sterling & Wilson Ltd, a Shapoorji Pallonji Group company, has been given the mandate of EPC services for this ambitious project.

    State Bank of India has been the sole banker to VPSPPL for the project.

    Commenting on this occasion, Mr. Vishal Kedia, Director of VPSPPL said, “We are proud and delighted on commissioning one of the largest Multi Crystalline solar plant in South East Asia.
