  • BOSTON, MA. AND CRANSTON, R.I.: Jennifer Hogencamp, CPA, an audit partner with blumshapiro, was recently appointed to the Global Audit Advisory Board, an international roundtable of audit professionals dedicated to driving innovation and evolution within the audit industry.

     Created by Netherlands-based Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting, the Global Audit Advisory Board is a “forum for leading global audit professionals to gain detailed understanding of current challenges within the audit profession and work together to guide its evolution.”

     “The Global Audit Advisory Board brings the best minds together to drive change in an effective way,” Wolters Kluwer said in a release. “The profession will benefit from the thought leadership and research led by the Board as they champion change, and as processes, standards, and technology continue to evolve.”

    The board consists of 12 audit professionals representing firms from around the world. Jen is the board’s sole New England-based member.

    “With nearly 20 years of experience and an unmatched ability to identify and adapt to the industry’s rapidly changing trends, Jen is an ideal fit for this board,” said Joseph Kask Chief Executive Officer, blumshapiro. “Jen is a tremendously valuable asset within our firm, and we are proud that her talents are being recognized on a global level.”

     The Global Audit Advisory Board held its inaugural meeting in New York City in late 2019.
