  • Bridgestone contributes Rs. 1 Crore to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund for Jammu and Kashmir

    Mumbai :  Bridgestone India Pvt. Ltd., subsidiary of the world’s largest tyre and rubber company Bridgestone Corporation, today announced a contribution of Rs.1 Crore to the Prime (L-R)Mr Ajay Sevekari Director HR&A, Purchase, Logistics & IT from Bridgestone India Pvt. Ltd. handing over donation cheque to Mr. Pradeep Kumar Bali  Under Secretary (Funds) PMOMinister’s Relief Fund for flood affected Jammu and Kashmir.

    The donation is aimed at providing aid to the affected people and their speedy recovery, along with the re-building of infrastructure destroyed during the floods.

    “Our heartfelt sympathies are with all those who were affected by the floods,” said Mr. Kazuhiko Mimura, Managing Director, Bridgestone India Pvt. Ltd. ”This is truly an unforeseen and unfortunate incident and Bridgestone hopes to play a part in rebuilding the lives of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.”

    Cheque amounting to Rs. 1 Crore was handed over to the Prime Minister’s Office by Mr. Ajay Sevekari Director HR&A, Logistic, Purchase & IT from Bridgestone India Pvt. Ltd. for the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund on 27th October, 2014.
