New Delhi:  New Delhi-based ECOS India Mobility & Hospitality Pvt Ltd (ECO) becomes the first services company to introduce a “Bullet Proof Car” in the Indian car rental industry.

Speaking on the occasion Mr. Rajesh Loomba, Managing Director, ECOS India Mobility & Hospitality Pvt. Ltd said “There are plenty of reasons why travel in bulletproof automobiles is the only way to go for so many dignitaries, celebrities, senior executives, professional athletes, and other high-profile individuals. Perhaps the most important reason is the simple peace of mind that comes from having security truly second to none, at the same time this level of security is not cospicous as the car looks like any other car”.

The bulletproof car initially will be available in Delhi and National Capital Region (NCR) only at a price tag of INR 12000per day for 80 kilometers. However, it can be made available in other parts of the country at an additional cost.

According to Mr. Loomba, the company is already contemplating to add more such cars in its existing fleet of over 1000 cars in the near future. “With the launch of the 1st bulletproof car in the country, we are for sure going to change the face of the car rental industry. More so, due to the ever increase in the movement of VIPs,” added Mr. Loomba.

The first bulletproof car launched by ECOS is a TOYOTA FORTUNER 4×4 SUV with five side armoring of the passenger compartment (roof, floor & verticals), ballistic steel interior frame providing overlap and backup protection for the large-surface principal impact areas such as the door and windows, heavy-duty coil springs and heavy duty shock absorbers to name few feature of the vehicle.

Mr. Rajesh Loomba further added in his statement that “One`s personal safety to the best possible is foremost in the life. Nothing more than one`s life is precious on this earth which should be protected to the maximum possible while on ROAD”.
