CA Technologies  brought a patent infringement suit against AppDynamics in New York. Subsequently, claims and counterclaims were filed between the parties in litigation in California relating to, among other things, when portions of the AppDynamics source code were written. In light of its recent settlement with AppDynamics resolving all litigation, CA Technologies issued the following statement:

“CA Technologies is pleased with the settlement of these cases, which includes substantial licensing payments from AppDynamics to CA.  As we said at the outset, CA will take all steps necessary to protect its intellectual property investments as well as the best interests of all its stakeholders, including our employees, customers and shareholders.”
