    Published on December 30, 2014

The Venetian Macao is celebrating more success after scooping up another top Chinese award. The integrated resort has won the Annual Resort & Holiday Hotel Award at the prestigious 9th China Tourism Golden Awards. The award, which honours the best luxury hotels across China, was presented at a special ceremony in Beijing in November. This latest recognition joins a long list of awards and accolades that The Venetian Macao has won this year, acknowledging its dedication to service excellence and luxurious accommodation.

The China Tourism Golden Awards was founded by National Geographic Traveler Magazine China in 2005, and has since become one of the most influential tourism awards in China. Considered an authoritative representation of China’s tourism industry, the China Tourism Golden Awards reflects the industry’s developmental trends and exerts a broad and far-reaching influence on Chinese tourists.

“We are very pleased to receive this award. It serves as further testament to our commitment of delivering the highest level of service excellence to our guests,” said Gunther Hatt, Executive Vice President of Operations, Sands China Ltd. “We will continue to exceed our guests’ expectations and to provide them with exceptional and unforgettable holiday experiences.”

With 3,000 suites, The Venetian Macao features stunning replicas of the famous canals and architectural icons of Venice, Italy. Throughout the integrated resort, guests can enjoy world-class entertainment shows at the 15,000-seat Cotai Arena and 1,800-seat Venetian Theatre, dine at more than 30 restaurants including the Michelin-starred Indian restaurant the Golden Peacock, and explore more than 300 retailers at Shoppes at Venetian. The Venetian Macao also has one of the largest convention, meeting and exhibition centres in Asia.
