  • Chola MS Risk Services receives India’s first-ever certification on Defensive Driving Training programmes from RoSPA

    Chennai : Cholamandalam MS Risk Services Ltd (Chola MS Risk Services), a Chennai-based Risk Consultancy Services provider and part of the USD 4.4billion Murugappa Group, has received the internationally acclaimed certification from The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) for the Defensive Driving training programme for promoting safe driving practices for commercial and personal driving, and for conducting fleet audits. This is the first time that an Indian organization has received this certification. This certification propels Chola MS Risk Services to an elite league of organisations offering extensive training programmes for corporates, fleet operators, logistics service providers and individuals to promote safe driving practices and to reduce road accidents.

    Chola MS Risk Services has already conducted extensive training programmes on safe driving to over 18,000 drivers over the past three years, across automobile manufacturers, white goods transporters, major logistic companies, corporate and MNC’s and oil companies and hazardous chemical carriers. It also offers state-of-the-art technology for journey risk management consultancy services for vehicles with special cargo requirements. Specific success stories include a 58% reduction in transit losses for an automobile manufacturer, by addressing issues related to the driver, the vehicles and the routes taken for the journeys. This latest certification will facilitate offering additional consultancy and training services to clients.
