  • Hyderabad:  The Three Day South India’s biggest Dairy Show-2015 concluded here in city on Monday.

    Ravi-Varma,-collector-of-raThe Animals which were put on live for the benefit of visitors to the show were given away awards on the last day today.

    Ravi Varma  was recognized and given away Rs 5000-/-(Five thousand) cash prize as the Best Conservator of Indian Breed. Another Dairy Farmer Sri Krishna Gouvanam was recognized as the Best Conservator of Rare Breed and presented cash prize of Rs 5000/-(Five thousand)

    Farmers Bali Reddy Swamy,Dharani Dairy, Sri Bharathi Narayana Reddy Gouseva Sanghm, Venkateswara Dairy, Sri Krishna Gouvanam, Nidadavole Raju, Siri Dairy Farm, Shankar Dairy, M.S. Raju, Rajahmundry Abbulu, N. Venugopal Rao and Sunil Farms were recognized for their contribution in preserving and contributing for the protection desi varieties of cattle

    Organised by Action Exhibitors and Conference Organisers, the show drew overwhelming response. More than 100 exhibitors exhibited their products and services. Department of Animal Husbandry, Govt of Telangana mobilized large crowds, particularly dairy farmers to the show. Which has witnessed several thousands of visitors.

    Also the show organized a one full day Conference on Setting Up Dairy for new  Entrepreneurs  who wants to set up a Dairy Farm.  Seventy participants from wide variety of backgrounds participated in the Conference.  Later they were taken to Dairy Plant visit to gain practical experience and knowledge.
