    New Delhi: QAI ( www.qaiglobal.com), the world’s leading workforce development and consulting firm addressing Operational Excellence in IT, BPO and knowledge intensive service organizations, announced Software Testing Leadership Awards 2010 at the 10th Annual Software Testing Conference (STC) 2010, to be held in Bangalore on November 22-23, 2010 at The Chancery Pavilion.

    Last year, CSS won top honors, with Aricent and Mindtree the first and second runners up respectively at the STC Best of the Best Leadership Awards 2009. For this year’s awards, Deloitte, IBM, L&T Infotech, Adobe, TCS, IBM, Syntel, TechMahindra, Capgemini, Honeywell, AppLabs, MindTree, Infosys, Fiserv, Aricent and Nokia among others are shortlisted for the best of the best awards. The Awards Committee will be announcing the Leadership Awards at the conference on 22-23, November.

    For the awards this year, a record breaking number of 461 author intent forms from over 134 organizations are received which is the all-time highest received for any conference conducted in the past 10 years in India. After preliminary screening, a total of 190 members have been invited to present. In all 54 organizations were represented for the regional rounds, hosted in six cities in India – Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, and New Delhi. The Jury panel consisted of 22 eminent leaders from Capgemini, Cognizant, HP, Infosys, Accenture, CSS Corp, HCL, ITC Infotech, Logica, Wipro, CGI, Mastek, Barclays, AppLabs, Maveric amongst others.

    STC 2010 is built on the theme of “Testing 3.0 – from Transaction to Transformation”. STC 2010 will focus on building a leadership narrative to piece together the three cornerstones of future business growth and continuity – Agility, Adaptation, Achievement and focuses on the ability of the organizations, practitioners and leaders to adopt, learn and lead in the wake of the new paradigms.

    10th in the series, this year’s conference has received overwhelming response from the industry with over 250 delegates already registered and support and sponsorship by leading organizations in the industry like Microsoft, Accenture, HP, Cap Gemini, Microfocus, CGI Global Information Systems, Confirmiq and Infostretch In addition it is being supported by various Software Process Improvement Networks (SPINs), Test Republic and Software Certifications and PCQuest, the media partner and CIOL, the online media partner. The conference is also supported by Applabs, Cognizant, Deloitte, QA Infotech and Wipro Technologies as the regional hosts for the evaluation rounds.

    STC 2010, organized in association with the Edista Testing Institute (ETI), is a platform where practitioners from various organizations share and learn the current best practices, and the future possibilities on how to manage not only change and continuity, but perhaps paradox more generally. Tenth in the series, STC 2010 will include four specific tracks focusing on Business Leadership, Test Program Management (Test Management, Team Management, Test Estimation etc.), Techniques and Tools and Emerging Areas.
