  • “DHAMAK” music launched in grand gala and folk-lore style

    “Dhamak” is one Marathi film which has been in the news ever since it was launched by producer Suvarna Bandiwadekar under the banner of her C.S. Films, with Rajendra Bandiwadekar, who has , besides directing the film, 07also written the story, screenplay and the dialgues. The film, which is Suvarna’s second film as a producer, made news when Aniket and Girija were teamed together for the first time and for its breath taking locations. It made news when Meghna Naidu did an item number and Mumait Khan did a lavni for the film, the way in which the stunt scenes were shot South style and when the re- recording of the songs was done in London.

    The film “Dhamak” stars Aniket Viswasrao and Girija Joshi in the main leads with Mohan Joshi, Ashok Samarth, Vidyadhar Joshi, Viju Khote, Uma Sardeshmukh, Maushumi Thondwalkar, Girish Salvi, Jayawant Wadkar, Ajay Padhye, Dhananjay Mandrekar etc . In short, according to director Rajendra Bandiwadekar, “Dhamak” is a fun filled and youth oriented film which will appeal not only to the young but also people in any age category because it boasts of a powerful story and brilliant treatment.

    The renowned and the oldest music company “Saregama” has come up with the music album for the film in the presence of Yojana Patil and Dinesh Bajaj, lyricist Rajesh Bamugde and music director Nirmal Kumar. The songs for the film have been sung by Uttara Kelkar, Poornima, Sudesh Bhosle, Swapnil Bandodkar, Pravin Kunwar and Bela Shende. While Umesh Jadhav has done the choreography for the film, Prasad Bhende has done the cinematography

    Poornima and Sudesh Bhosle have crooned the item number “Shaila Mee Shaila” picturised on Meghna Naidu, while Uttara Kelkar has sung the lavni number “Dete Tumha Vida Aani Supari Phoda”. Sudesh has crooned the catchy rap number “Karoon Taak Golmal” while Swapanil Bandodkar and Bela Shede have sung the soulful “Hridayi Taar Chedtana”. The other numbers are “Tujhach Bhaas Tujha Aabhaas” sung by Bela Shende and the foot tapping catchy title track “Dhamak Dhamak” sung by Pravin Kunwar.

    On the occasion, the producers also unveiled the Web Site for the film with great fanfare in the presence of “Padmashree Ananadji” and all the actors of the film.
