  • Dr. Keki Gharda donated the latest ICU equipment to Dr. Bhabha Hospital – Bandra Mumbai

    Dr. KekiMumbai: Dr. KekiGharda – Chairman – Gharda Chemicals Ltd recently donated latest ICU equipment to the BMC run K.Bhabha Hospital located at Bandra. The charity was done in honour of the late Mr. RuttonKawasmaneck – co-founder of Gharda Chemicals Ltd.

    The occasion was graced by guest of honourMr. Sanjay Deshmukh – Addl. Municipal Commissioner B.M.C. and Dr. MahendraWadiwala – Incharge of BMC Peripheral Hospitals, Mumbai.

    The hospital with these state-of-art equipments will have greater accessibility to the latest technology available in treating critical patients in the ICU. Over 300 patients per day are treated in Bhabha Hospital.

    Speaking on the occasion, Dr. KekiGharda – Chairman – Gharda Chemicals Ltd., stated that, “we strongly believe in conversion of knowledge into wealth that adds value to humanity in general and for the welfare of the nation in particular”. He also added that, “GhardaFoundation focuses on health and education. We run two hospitals i.eBaiRatanbhaiGharda Hospital at Dombivli and Gharda Hospital at Ratnagiri. Our dream project Gharda Institute of Technologywas started in the year 2006 in Khed, Dist: Ratnagiri”.

    Dr. KekiGhardaalso started a charitable public library at Bandra in 2010, providing more than 10,000 volumes in all subjects ranging from arts to science and music to technology.
