New Delhi: In an effort to mentor the younger generation and to infuse the zeal of entrepreneurship among the youth of non-metro cities, Zee Media’s popular weekly program – Dr. Subhash Chandra Show was shot at the campus of Birla Institute of Management Technology, Greater Noida. The highly acclaimed Show witnessed enthusiastic participation from from a gamut of undergraduates and post-graduates students of BIMTECH and other colleges of nearby districts, who had gathered there in the hope of receiving advice and mentoring from the highly acclaimed media baron Dr. Subhash Chandra.

Dr. Chandra hailed the great work that women are initiating in various fields. He made no qualms in articulating that women being natural leaders with entrepreneur acumen & leadership qualities would have given a tough challenge in the media industry.

During the show Dr. Chandra engaged with the youth and budding entrepreneurs, graduate and undergraduate students and captivated them with his astute guidance. He also shared his knowledge of fabricating a venture and various issues associated with the procedure.

This was the first time that the leading media group had organized Dr. Subhash Chandra Show in Greater Noida.

Mentorship and interactive career counseling is a new concept in India, unlike developed nations where students and youngsters receive live guidance from the stalwarts. Heralding a new era in India, the show is first of its kind show which interacts, addresses and gives solutions to career and business issues of general public, particularly of young generation. Due to its dynamism, the show has received an overwhelming response since the beginning.

The show will be aired on 13th December, Saturday at 10 pm on Zee News and 7pm on Zee Business and on 14th December, Sundays at 11 am on both Zee News & Zee Business.  This show will also be telecast on other channels of Zee Media.

Dr. Subhash Chandra is among the pioneering visionaries of the Indian industry. It was Subhash Chandra’s vision that helped give birth to the satellite TV industry in India and inspired others to follow suit. He was the first in India who sought to harness the huge business potential of satellite television channels and launched Zee Telefilms Limited in October 1992 as a content supplier for Zee TV – India’s first Hindi satellite channel. Before the launch of Zee TV viewers in India were under the firm grip of Doordarshan, the state-controlled terrestrial network.
