Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said the NDA government has taken unprecedented steps to combat corruption in the country and attacked the opposition saying those who were earlier looting the nation are not enthused by his government.

Speaking at the mega event ‘Ek Nayi Subah’ at India Gate in New Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on the one hand there is agenda of development, on other there is agenda of obstructionism and the people are capable of finding the truth.

He said the Centre has found over a crore and sixty two lakh fake ration cards, which has resulted in saving over 36000 crore rupees leakages.

The Prime Minister said that in LPG subsidy lists, we found so many fake names, so much leakage and that the Government has saved nearly Rs. 15,000 crore of public money.

PM Modi has said that the number of people getting subsidised kerosene through fake means is in lakhs.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also spoke about school teacher recruitment scam and further said that probe is going on.
