Mumbai: Acclaimed Bollywood singer Shahid Mallya who rose to fame with tracks like ‘Iski Uski’ from 2 States and ‘Tauba Main Vyah Kar Ke Pachtaya’ from the movie Shaadi Ke Side Effects will be performing popular Sufi tracks live at Inorbit Malad on 5th July ’15 at 6:30 pm. The ElektroSufi Concert, a property of Go Live Events, is all set to make the monsoon a lot more magical with progressive electronica music fused with live vocals and percussion. Music producer, DJ and Tabla maestro Arkane will also be joining Shahid Mallya on stage for the concert.

Tracks such as Hairaan Hua and Duma Dum by Abida Parveen, Jugni from Cocktail, Afreen afreen and Kinna Sona by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Ankhon Ke Saagar by Fuzon, Maaeri by Euphoria will be performed amongst many other Sufi hits and Shahid Mallya’s own songs like Mann Jaage Saari Raat etc. Born to a family of musicians, Shahid Mallya has been trained in music from the tender age of seven and has a special place in his heart for Sufi music for its soulful sound.
