    Equity isn’t just a nice-to-have, it’s a must-have. A focus on gender equity needs to be part of every society’s DNA and it’s crucial to recognise the difference between equity and equality. Supporting this year’s theme for International Women’s Day 2023 #EmbraceEquity, DLF Mall of India organised a series of events and on-ground activities throughout the week. Keeping the tradition of giving customers a unique experience with every visit, the mall has also announced a special Women’s Day shopping promotion.

    The celebrations of International Women’s Day at DLF Mall of India began from Sunday, 5th March, 2023, with a Women’s Day Run under its DLF MOI ACTIVE NOIDA initiative. The run was organised to emphasise on the importance of healthcare and fitness for every woman and supporting every woman’s right to equal opportunity, representation, and quality of life. The run comprised of awareness sessions and fun events like saree run and Holi celebration.

    To further mark the occasion, the mall also organised a self defense workshop, a health check-up camp for its employees and support staff on 6th March 2023. Additionally, DLF Mall of India, NCRs favourite shopping destination will also offer exclusive shopping offers and will give all female shoppers special gift vouchers. All female patrons shopping for Rs. 20,000 or more at DLF Mall of India will get assured gift vouchers worth Rs. 10,000.

    Adding to the retail experience, the mall also curated a pop-up market in association with AWWA (Army Wives Welfare Association) showcasing various handmade articles, art and crafts made by women entrepreneurs and veer naaris.

Women’s Day gives us an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of women and endeavour to creating a gender equal and inclusive future.  We will continue to work towards adopting enriching initiatives that provide equal opportunities which are free of gender-bias and stereotypes.

    The journey to equality doesn’t stop with a weeklong celebration. It’s a goal that everyone must pursue with persistence and mutual support.
