  • Everymedia Technologies wins Special Mention Award at the Social Media for Empowerment Award

    Mumbai : Everymedia Technologies has added another feather to its cap. Mumbai-based leading integrated marketing communications company won the Special Mention Award at the Social Media for Empowerment Award 2014 for the digital campaign of MARD on 20th November. MARD a.k.a. Men Against Rape and Discrimination is a social initiative started by Farhan Akhtar after multiple instances of brutality against women all over India. Everymedia Technologies has been supporting MARD since its inception in March 2013.

    This is the second year for the Social Media for Empowerment Awards which was held at Eros Hotel, New Delhi on November 20 and 21, 2014. The CEO of Everymedia Technologies, Gautam B Thakker said, “MARD has been a special campaign for Everymedia. I am deeply honored to have been facilitated and recognized for all the efforts we have put into this campaign.”

    Everymedia Technologies is managing the website and social media for the MARD campaign. Last year the campaign was to raise awareness and the agency created a huge buzz across the social media platforms. This year on social media, #ReachForTheSky campaign was promoted, as a result of which 1680 no. of users pledged to support MARD. This campaign is a joint collaboration of MARD with Google in order to help women get online (HWGO). Everymedia successfully promoted the song Chulein Aasman by Farhan Akhtar, Salim and Sulaiman Merchant across the social media platforms. A dedicated website was also developed in order to enable users to take a pledge, download the song ‘Chulein Aasman’ and also donate as per will.
