Cabinet reshuffle: Harish, Maken, Ashwani, Pallam, Tiwari among 7 cabinet ministers sworn in

Ramesh Vishwanath Deshmane is the artist of the masses. His leitmotif is the man-woman relationship, which is communicated at times through a series of linear drawings and at others, through a vivid, textured scenario; either way, it is singularly characteristic of a beguiling rhythm and spontaneity of self expression.
He depicts versatility in varied mediums – ink, charcoal, water colour, acrylic and oil. His is a very progressive growth not influenced by any particular ‘ism’, continually searching, perhaps, for that little elusive element that is truly characteristic of his subject; unknowingly and on occasion, brusquely stirring the unfathomable depths of one’s psyche.
Exhibiting singly (apart from various group participations) for the eighteenth time, this time after a long and personally eventful six years, the artist’s growing dialogue with his characters is depicted through a series of facial expressions that hold a mirror to the innermost recesses of the soul. The strength of his brush work mingles with experimental evolution in technique, applying and re-applying the artist’s foray into a contemporaneous visual presentation.
The current exhibition is titled “Expressions” and portrays the unmistakable aura of self-expression. The palette is vivid, in a skilful application of ‘chiaroscuro’ expressing joy de-vivre.
