Moorpark, CA : Face Off With Cancer is proud to announce it is now officially recognized as a tax-exempt charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code (IRC). Contributions to Face Off With Cancer are fully tax-deductible retroactive to the incorporation date of the organization on August 1, 2013.

“Obtaining 501(c)(3) tax exempt status is a major milestone for Face Off With Cancer,” remarked President and Co-founder Ryan King. “This opens many doors for the organization and will allow us to continue making larger strides towards accomplishing our mission year after year.”

Since their establishment in early 2012, Face Off With Cancer has coordinated several tournaments, fundraisers and events to support various local cancer organizations and multiple families affected by the disease. As an all-volunteer organization, they rely heavily on the contributions the local hockey and business communities to support their mission.
