Sunday was a courtiers evening indeed with the unveiling of Falguni and Shane Peacock’s Peacock Bride Collection 2012. A Collection inspired by the love affairs of a Parisian bride at the Aamby Valley City India Bridal Week 2012.

The collection showcased has a mix of bridal and evening gowns full ghagras, anarkalis, farshi pyjamas, kalidaar saris teamed with bustier, halters and shrugs. An amalgamation of pastel hues, lace and Swarovski crystal. The collection signifies the journey traveled by the beautiful bride and memories made by her till her big day.

Using intricate lace work and diamonds embroidered onto soft fabrics like net, chiffon and georgette, the collection was opulent and luxe. Ivory, nudes, pistachio greens combined with bling embellishments bring to you outfits that flatter the feminine silhouettes.

The most inherent factor that stops an eye to their work is the eclectic and intelligent mix the Parisian trends with the traditions of India. A Collection that reflects their philosophy of ‘life’s too short to blend in’.

This internationally acclaimed designer duo have created ripples in the international markets right from showcasing in the London Fashion Week four years ago to recently showcasing at the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, New York for the third season. Many international celebrities like Madonna, Britney Spears, Katy Perry, Fergie, Nicole Scherzinger, Kat Graham, Cheryl Cole, Naomi Harris, Hofit Golan, Niki Minaj, Jaime King, The Sugarbabes Jade Ewen, Amelle Berrabah and Heidi Range, Chelsea Kane, Ayla Kell, Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton, Britney Spears and Lady Gaga among others have been seen donning the Peacock creations.
