  • Gamesa Firms Up 100 Mw Wind Power Project (Phase 3) With Greenko Out Of The 300 Mw Framework Agreement Signed Last May 2013

    Chennai: Gamesa Wind Turbines Private Limited has recently firmed up another 100 MW out of the total 300 MW framework agreement with Greenko, a market leading owner and operator of clean energy projects in India. With this Gamesa has secured 250 MW of projects which are currently under various stages of implementation.

This project once again reinforces our execution capabilities in India especially in line with the demands of the Independent Power Producers” said Mr. Ramesh Kymal, Chairman and Managing Director, Gamesa India

    In this 100 MW project, Gamesa will supply and commission 50 units of G97-2.0MW turbines at various sites in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Rajasthan. Gamesa would start delivering the turbines starting May’14 and commissioning is planned in phases in September’14 and March’15. The Operation and Maintenance services will be provided initially for 5 years by Gamesa India.
