Mumbai: Barista Lavazza, the pioneer of the café culture in India, has returned with its extremely popular and innovative contest for coffee and photography lovers – the ‘Click-a-Coffee’ contest, 2014. The contest, which was launched last year, invites all photography enthusiasts – amateurs, beginners and photography clubs – to showcase their creativity and talent through still pictures. Different from last year, this year the theme for submission of entries is ‘Your Barista Lavazza Café Moment’.

Continuing the association from last year, this year too ace photographer, Pradeep Dasgupta will judge the submitted entries for the Click-a-Coffee contest and select the shortlisted photographs, which will then feature in the 2014 edition of India’s first coffee table book for amateur photographers. The contest, which starts from January 31st, 2014, invites all photography buffs to share their creative vision and photographic talent. To participate, all one has to do is submit their entries and its caption on Barista Lavazza’s Facebook page.   Patrons can send in multiple or single entries within 30 days of the launch of the contest.

At the end of the contest, Pradeep Dasgupta will select top images, which will then form a part of the 2014 edition of the ‘Click-a-Coffee’ coffee table book. The book will find proud shelf space in key Barista Lavazza cafes around the country. Pradeep Dasgupta will officially launch the book in a Barista Lavazza cafe in Delhi and will also be sharing his views on the same in the preface of the book.
