  • Distributes the tricolor to 7500 households

    New Delhi/Noida :  GHCL, India’s leading Chemical & Textile Company, will distribute the tricolor to 7500 households in Sutrapada, in Verwal district in Gujarat and in Madurai through the GHCL Foundation Trust, its CSR arm.

    In order to support the Government of India’s initiative ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’, GHCL Foundation Trust donated Rs 2.5 lakhs to the Government of Gujarat. The Foundation Trust will also distribute 500 flags received from the government in various households through students of its Vocational training centres in Sutrapada.

    In Madurai, The Foundation Trust will distribute 7000 flags in the households living in villages around its plant. This will be done in collaboration with the members of the village Gram Panchayats.

    Apart from this, employees in various offices of GHCL are being encouraged to display the national flag in their homes, register for the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign and use the ‘Tiranga’ as a display picture on their social media accounts.

    Speaking on the occasion, Mr. R S Jalan, Managing Director, GHCL said,

    ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ is a powerful campaign under the aegis of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” and is sure to encourage the feeling of patriotism and oneness across the nation. It is an honor for us to be a part of India’s growth story and we pledge our support in nation building.
