Pune : Indira School of Business Studies (PGDM and MBA) in collaboration with CII Yi, organized by iCAN – Entrepreneurship & Start-up Leadership Conclave, in the month of October, 2022, under the aegis of India@75, Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, to celebrate the spirit of the entrepreneurial community and to provide an opportunity to students to learn from eminent entrepreneurs.

The audience were addressed by Dr. Tarita Shankar, Chairperson – Indira Group of Institutes (IGI); Prof. Chetan Wakalkar, Group Director – IGI and Dr. Kumendra Raheja, Head – ISBS PGDM, who shared insights about India’s journey in making the start-up ecosystem robust.

The event also saw several noteworthy personalities from the entrepreneurial space including Jyotsna Uttamchandani, Executive Director, Syska, SSK Group of Companies; Dheeman Kadam, Co-Founder, goEgoNetwork; Sushmita Kaneri, Founder & CEO, TechPose Pvt. Ltd.; Aditya Jhunjhunwala, Co-Founder, CEO & Chief Mentor, Enterprise India Fellowship; Devyani Pawar, Founder & CEO, DP House of Media; Sowmya Iyer, Founder & CEO, DViO Digital, and Bharat Oswal, Chief Happiness Officer, Botree. They all shared their school of thoughts about the industry that they are catering to while underscoring the challenges and opportunities in revolutionizing the world as a better place to be by massive implementation of their services/ products.

Speaking about revolutionizing India’s electric mobility space by providing quality, quick EV charging facility across the country, Dheeman Kadam of goEgoNetwork highlighted that the country, which is seeing a great potential for electric mobility to thrive on the back of consumer demand and supportive government initiatives, the sector is lethargic in adoption due to lack of robust charging infrastructure. “Apart from having our fast-charging parks in various key locations in India, we at goEgoNetwork have tied up with various institutions like malls, car parks, educational institutes, housing societies, etc., to grow our reach to the end consumer with bespoke charging infrastructure for their EV of any type. While the journey that started in 2019 has been a rollercoaster ride for us all, it certainly has been worth it, for the feat that we have achieved due to the trust vested in us by all our stakeholders,” voiced Dheeman.

Filled with wisdom for the attending students, the conclave’s associate partner Young Indians (Yi) YUVA is an integral part of Confederation of Indian Industry CII Pune – a non-government industry led and managed organization that plays a proactive role in India’s development process.
