  • Hardik Pandya and MMF help special children believe in power of magic

    Mumbai : It was an evening of emotions with excitement levels running high as ace cricketer and youth icon Hardik Pandya amazed specially-abled children with a surprise appearance on the occasion of Mukul Madhav Foundation (MMF), the CSR arm of Finolex Pipes Ltd completing 20 years. Children with cerebral palsy, visual impairments and other disablements engaged in some spectacular song and dance performances over the last weekend in Pune leaving Hardik Pandya teary-eyed and star-struck.

    The highlight of the evening was a magic show performed for the children. When Hardik Pandya appeared on the scene, it was nothing short of magic for the children who had not anticipated such a magnificent surprise. Displaying some deft cricketing moves, Hardik became an instant hit with children. Though the children had been huge cricket fans, the demonstration of fine-playing skills by Hardik was a first time experience for them. It was a magical experience for the children as it opened new vistas of wonders for them and left them wanting for more. It was a moment of frenzy and thrills as the children indulged in a real time feel of the game and were completely bowled over by Hardik. The cricketing wizard lauded the MMF event which provides a platform for specially-abled children to display their talent and integrate them in the social mainstream

     

    “It was lovely meeting and interacting with these amazing kids from the Mukul Madhav Foundation. Bringing a smile on their faces made my day. I was left in awe by the breathtaking performances of the fantastic kids from Mukul Madhav Foundation,” stated Hardik Pandya on his Twitter handle.

     

    As the evening drew to a close, the children gained a new, lifelong fan in Hardik Pandya who promised them more such fun-filled interactions.
