  • Heritage Group of Institutions celebrated its 21st Foundation Day

    Heritage Group of Institutions celebrated its 21st Foundation Day on 25th June 2022. The day started with lamp lighting and formal inaugural ceremony addressed by Swami Atmapriyanandaji Maharaj, Pro-chancellor, Ramakrishna Mission Swami Vivekananda Education and Research Institute as the Chief Guest followed by Ms. J. Charukesi, Chief Postmaster General, West Bengal as the Guest of Honour. The programme also witnessed the release of the special commemorative cover by Ms. J. Charukesi, Chief Postmaster General, West Bengal to commemorate the celebration of 20 years of Educational Excellence of Heritage Group of Institutions, Kolkata, which started its journey from the establishment of The Heritage School and Heritage Institute of Technology in 2001 with 419 students. Today the entire group offers value-based education to more than 10000 students in The Heritage campus.

    On this special occasion, Shri H.K.Chaudhary, Chairman, Heritage Group of Institutions, Shri Vikram Swarup, Vice Chairman, Heritage Group of Institutions, Shri Sajjan Bhajanka, Secretary, Kalyan Bharti Trust and Founder Trustee, Heritage Group of Institutions addressed all the faculty and staff members of the Group and inspired them to set another set of milestones to achieve in future. Moreover the founder Director of Heritage Institute of Technology, Prof. B. B. Paira, and the Former Vice-principal of The Heritage School, Ms. Meenakshi Atal along with faculty and staff members of both the institutions who have completed 20 years of dedicated service to the Group were felicitated with a special commemorative silver coin along with a certificate of appreciation.

    Besides this, the well-wishers of the entire Group who were associated since its inception were being felicitated as well.

    During this occasion, Swami Atmapriyanandaji Maharaj stressed character building which is the primary objective of education. “Heritage Group of Institutions follows the philosophy of ancient Gurukul system of education which emphasizes on character building, the prime objective of value-based education,” said Swamiji during his inaugural address.

    “This special commemorative cover goes a long way since it is a collector’s item. I am very much impressed by the level of talent among the students of Heritage Group of Institutions. I am also very happy that The Heritage School has a philatelic club. This will help the students a lot in appreciating their culture and Heritage since nowadays everyone is engrossed in the social media,” said Mr. J.Jarukesi, Chief Postmaster General, West Bengal.

    “I thank all the trustees and well-wishers who had made this journey successful. Today we are having around 10000 students on the campus. Our alumni members are spread across the world working in various prestigious positions. Our students also topped various examinations in the country,” said Shri P.K.Agarwal, CEO, Heritage Group of Institutions, Kolkata, on this wonderful occasion.

    The program also witnessed the presence and address of some of the founder trustee members of Heritage Group of Institutions like Shri Dayaram Agarwal, Shri H.P.Budhia, and Shri N.P.Dalmia besides Shri Gyanesh Chaudhary, Member, School Managing Committee, The Heritage School and Prof. B. B. Paira, Founder Director, Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata. The program was also addressed by Ms. Seema Sapru, Principal, of The Heritage School, and Prof. Basab Chaudhuri, Principal, of Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata.
