St. Louis, Mo :  Hilliker Corporation, a St. Louis owned and managed commercial real estate company, recently assisted its client sell a warehouse that was deemed one of the largest single level warehouses in the country when built nearly 60 years ago.

Kingsland Kingswick Holdings sold its 440,000-square-foot office and warehouse space located at 1431 Kingsland for $2,657,000 to MCI Cores, Inc.  The warehouse was originally built in 1957 for Stix, Baer & Fuller retailer and sits on 17 acres of land with over 10 acres under roof.

MCI Cores is one of the largest buyers and suppliers of used automotive parts in the world.  Founded in 1992 by Ron Carr and Ed Matejcic, the company is currently located at 6346 Plymouth Ave. in 200,000-square-feet of warehouse space.  MCI Cores will retain ownership of its current property and moved into 200,000-square-feet of the Kingsland warehouse last Dec. as a tenant.  The remainder of the Kingsland building is leased to third-party tenants.

Hilliker Corporation’s Hal Ball represented the seller, Kingswick Holdings.  Cozad Group represented the buyer, MCI Cores.  Ball said that Hilliker Corporation, which has continuously leased the property for the past 12 years, assisted its client through a complicated foreclosure lawsuit which eventually allowed the recent sale of the property.
