  • Homegrown EV charging solutions company goEgoNetwork launches Kerbside charging station, Hornbill Series

    Published on March 30, 2022

Aiding the EV charging infrastructure in India by providing time and energy-efficient charging solutions, homegrown EV charging solutions provider goEgoNetwork has unveiled a Kerbside Charging Station – Hornbill. It has a ground mounted base which eliminates the need of a pole or a wall for support. Fit to be installed in high end residential society premises and public places like parking bays and malls, Hornbill comes following the launch of three charging stations – Albatross, Eagle & Falcon.

Taking Hornbill a notch higher, goEgoNetwork has equipped the charging station with a 10-inch TFT LCD display and visual indication through LED notifying charging session status like ready, preparing, charging or fault detection. The charging station is equipped with a host of safety features, to protect the EV against over-voltage, under-voltage, short circuit, current surge, overheating and residual current. The Hornbill comes with two charging guns with 5-meter long cables on each side that can deliver a maximum power output of 7.4 kW even when two cars are connected at the same time.

As the fossil fuel costs have been surging exorbitantly and commuting economically becoming the quest for several, there is a significant upsurge in demand for electric vehicles in India. The emission-free approach further makes the clean mobility alternative a preferred pick over the traditional internal combustion engine-powered vehicles. The only quest that hinders the massive adoption of EVs is the slow growth rate of charging infrastructure which is seldom available in housing societies and public places for the EV owner’s convenience.

goEgoNetwork manufactures its robust range of EV charging stations, for both commercial and domestic usage at its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. The charging stations are ARAI certified and are built to provide an uninterrupted EV charging experience.

Making the EV charging infrastructure robust in India, Sayantan Chakraborti, Co-founder, goEgoNetwork, said, “goEgo is launching multiple products in the next few months to cater to every customer in the home and public EV charging space. From smart home EV charging stations to both slow and fast public charging stations designed for Indian conditions, our new range of products offer a safe and convenient EV charging experience for everyone.”
