At the age of 16, Kavea R Chavali moved out of her house for completing her engineering from REC (Warangal) now known as NIT Warangal. But after her graduation, she realised her calling was something else. Kavea has always been an orator and fond of public speaking. What started as TV News Reporting, years down the line, Kavea now is an Anchor/presenter, mode and a voiceover Artist artist having hosted more than 1300 shows across the globe and having voiced IVRs, documentaries for animation films.

 

The young girl who is currently in her hometown anchoring and flagging off the Formula 1 boat racing event is excited to be back to the city. She did her schooling from NSM Public School, Vijayawada and has fond memories.

 

Interestingly, the CM will be flagging off the F1H20 at the Krishna River with Team Amravati participating too.

 

Talking about this experience, Kavea reveals,“I will always be that little girl who dreamt of holding a mic and talking in front of a crowd. An 8 year old journey and still every event feels like the first one. The thrill lies in the excitement of hosting something new each day. I absolutely love what I do and today being here, in my hometown, spearheading an event of this scale along with esteemed dignitaries only makes me feel grateful and overwhelmed. Lots of memories here from my childhood days with my twin sister and I am just happy with the way Nostalgia has it me today”

 

Kavea along with her twin sister and mother have also started their online retail brand KALANECA. She adds, “This initiative of ours is to promote the craftsmanship and weavers of Uppada (Andhra). I am passionate about Sarees and our venture has been doing tremendously well.”

 

She and her twin were even seen in AIB’s video, A Woman’s besties- as Geeta and Boobita.
