Mumbai, Maharashtra (India Prwire) ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company Ltd., India’s largest private sector General Insurance Company and CNBC TV-18, India’s leading business channel today announced the launch of ‘ICICI Lombard-CNBC TV18 Healthcare Awards 2010’ to recognize the best healthcare providers in India. These awards aim to set a new benchmark for the healthcare industry, thus encouraging them to scale up their efforts in order to provide quality healthcare to consumers. Benchmarking the quality of services and infrastructure levels at the healthcare facilities will benefit the Indian consumer.

The multi-phase selection methodology is powered by IMRB and includes service provider profile assessment, consumer feedback and doctor ratings. The final shortlist will be judged by an eminent jury concluding with the awards ceremony. The awards aim to recognise excellence in tertiary, secondary and specialist healthcare as also in social responsibility and innovation.
