Mumbai: Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) was rewarded with an award for Innovation in Academic & Industry Interface at Innovative B-school Awards organized by DNA and Star Group. The Institute was also honored with an award for Industry Related Curriculum in International Business at The Star News National B-School Awards.

Innovation, Leadership and Development are the crucial elements in every Business School. B-Schools who continuously innovate differentiate themselves from others who do not. DNA and Star Group presented Innovative B-school Awards in recognition of leadership and development, marketing and industry interface of Business school.

The awards are well researched and chosen by an independent jury and a panel of professionals who believe in nurturing talent and in recognizing the best of the best. IIFT was requested to accept the awards in person.

Dr. (Mrs.) Vijaya Katti, Chairperson Research, the senior most faculty member in the Institute was nominated to represent IIFT at the award function and accept the awards.

“It is indeed a proud moment for IIFT to receive such recognitions. IIFT, over the years has always focused on Industry interface and matching the best requirements of the Industry in terms of its curriculum”, said Dr. Katti, on receiving the award.
