On behalf of the Conference Organizing committee and the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society, it is our great pleasure to welcome you to the InCAP 2018, a new series of Indian Conference on Antennas and Propagation, launched this year by all seven IEEE APS Chapters of India. InCAP is conceived as an annual flagship conference on antennas and propagation in India by merging three popular and successful Indian IEEE conferences namely AEMC, IAW, and iAIM in order to provide a wider and more professional forum to the student members, young scientists, engineers, and academia. This will be the largest conference of its kind in India with expected attendees of about 400, presenting more than 275 technical papers on various domains of Antenna Technology. InCAP is poised to grow as one of the top Antenna &Propagation conferences in the Asia-Pacific Region and will provide international exposure to India Students and Antenna community within India at very minimal cost. To encourage students, young professionals and women-in-engineering, InCAP has subsidized their registration fee by 50% and have planned dedicated sessions on Students, Young Professionals in Space, and Women in Engineering. These sessions are fully managed by respective demographic groups. InCAP has also introduced student travel grants to all the students attending the InCAP. To encourage Indian Antenna Engineers to compete with best in the world multiple awards amounting to more than 1.5L are introduced.Committee comprising world’s best Antenna Expert will evaluate the papers and will announce the awards on December 18, 2018.

The first InCAP will be held in Hyderabad during December 16-19, 2018 at the Hyderabad International Convention Center (HICC). The Conference will be Inaugurated by Dr. G Sathish Reddy, Chairman DRDO & Secretary, DoDR&D on December 16, 2018 at 9.30 AM. He will deliver his Inaugural address at 10.00 AM followed by Keynote Addresses by four international experts. There are about 25 international sponsors and exhibitors participating in the conference. Dr. Reddy will also Inaugurate the Exhibition on latest Antenna related developments at 11.00 AM.
