  • India Biofuel Meet at Biofuel Expo 2023 at Pragati Maidan

    New Delhi : India stands 4th globally in Renewable Energy Installed Capacity (including Large Hydro), 4th in Wind Power capacity & 4th in Solar Power capacity (as per REN21 Renewables 2022 Global Status Report). The country has set an enhanced target at the COP26 of 500 GW of non-fossil fuel-based energy by 2030.

    To contribute on the same path, launch of first edition of India biofuel meet held today at biofuel Expo 2023 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The exhibition is organised by green society of India and Indian Exhibition Services. The exhibition is supported by associations like ASSOCHAM, GEM, Delhi metro rail corporation, AIDA, biofuel Association of India, Indian biogas Association, CMAI etc.

    It’s an international trade exhibition on biofuel(biodiesel, ethanol, biogas, hydrogen) manufacturing process &technology, plant machinery, bio fuel sustainable products, equipment, raw material and allied Industries. The exhibition has numerous exhibitors from all across India & abroad. The profile of exhibitors is from related sectors of biofuel manufactures, bio refinery units, research & development organizations, government Institutions, EPC solution companies etc. Some of the Major brands participating in the exhibition are universal forces, Can Group of Industries, MCL, Mojjengineering systems Ltd, JEC, Avant-Grade, Shirke, Advance biofuel, Mahija biofuel industries, re green excel etc. 

    According to Mr. Swadesh Kumar, President, Green society of India, “The expo will provide the latest key trends in the biofuel industry. This exhibition has provided opportunities for networking and business growth for the participants from biofuel market. This is our first edition of Biofuel expo here in Delhi and we are getting enormous response from Delhi NCR potential market. The subject of the exhibition is sustainable and have potential to address issues of climate change and energy security.Global demand for biofuels is set to grow by 41 billion litres or 28% over 2021-2026. The recovery to pre- covid-19 demand levels accounts for one-fifth of this demand growth.”

    According to Mr. Balram , “India is being a developing economy is using a huge amount of energy for sustaining its growth, most of which comes from fossil fuels at present.
