  • India Defeat Australia in 2nd ODI

    In the second cricket One-dayer at Visakhapatnam, India defeated Australia by five wickets.

    Chasing the victory target of 290 runs set by Australis, India reached the target in 48.5 overs for the loss of 5 wickets.

    Earlier put in to bat, the Aussies made 289 for three in the allotted 50 overs. Skipper Michael Clarke top scored with an unbeaten 111, which was his fifth ODI hundred.

    Cameron White was not out on 89. Michael Hussey was out for 69.

    For India, Aashish Nehra claimed two wickets for 57 runs in his ten overs. Ashwin Ravichandran had a tally of one for 34 in nine overs.
