Pro Ecuador, the Institute for the Promotion of Trade and Investment of the country, hosted an event in Mumbai, India where they introduced the destination to the trade bodies, travel agencies, media and corporates. Ecuador is  the world’s largest mega diverse country and a perfect location for everyone, be it the plush green forests of the Amazon, the serene beaches of the Pacific coasts, the breath-taking and picturesque Galapagos or the gorgeous scenic Andes, the country is home to it all.  Ecuador thus truly reflects its motto – ‘Like nowhere else. All in one place. So close’.

“Ecuador is an undiscovered gem for Indian travelers, which is why we have looked forward to presenting our country to India” said Héctor Cueva Jácome, Consul General representing Ecuador in Mumbai, India. He further added that “Ecuador as a destination has a lot to offer for the various genres of travellers. We firmly believe that indeed ‘All You Need is Ecuador’”.

The event unfolded with an audio/visual presentation that left the audience awestruck. The afternoon assisted the audience to understand the several offerings the destination has in store. The guests were charmed with the culinary spread which included Ecuadorian delights. The focus was also on the famous Ecuadorian Chocolate. Interesting insights were shared about their chocolate through an intriguing chocolate appreciation session conducted by the renowned Chef Sanjana Patel.

The Indian travellers are continuously exploring new, exciting and different destinations to visit. Ecuador waits to welcome Indians to their land of endless beauty.
