  • ‘Indian Art, Culture & Heritage Fiesta’ To be showcased at Hong Kong Harbin Ice Festival

    New Delhi :  Celebrating 2014 as the ‘Year of Friendship and Exchange’ with China, India is all set to showcase its art and culture in Hong Kong, at one of the world’s largest festival of its Panel Members L - R - Sitting - Neelam Pratap Rudy and Liza Varma  - Standing - Ruchika Krishnani, Abhinav Chaturvedi, Sachin Khurana and Nandini Chaturvedi-kind, the Hong Kong Harbin Ice Festival.  Organised by Fictional Reality Communications, Hong Kong, a ten day fair titled ‘Indian Art, Culture & Heritage Fiesta’ will be organized from 1st – 10th November 2014 with an aim to bring Indian cultural awareness to the people of Hong Kong and China.

    The festival will showcase Indian performing arts and craft, food, fashion and more through dance, music and theatre performances, exhibitions and workshops.  This event is all about presenting India’s top Entrepreneurs, Industrialists, VIP Icons from Ministry, Indian Royalty, Indian Cinema, Sports, Art, Music, Dance, IT, Hospitality, Pharmaceuticals etc.

    The idea of ‘Indian Art Culture & Heritage Fiesta’ was conceived by Dr. Sanjay Nagarkar who says “Hong Kong is an ideal location to hold an event like this because Hong Kong is seen as a bridge between China and rest of the world.  This event will bring Indian cultural awareness to the local Chinese community for the first time in such a large scale.”

    Spearhead by Liza Varma and Neelam Pratap Rudy, face for Indian Art, Culture & Heritage Fiesta, Sachin Khurana Director Entertainment Coordination, Nandini Chaturvedi Director Event & Planning, Actor Abhinav Kant Chaturvedi the festival shall highlight the confluence of Indian and Chinese culture and enhance multiculturalism. The event will be organized at large scale with over 1 million footfalls expected during the Festival.

    Liza Varma, Ambassador of the festival says “We are glad that we have associated with the festival which will highlight the confluence of Indian and Hong Kong culture and will enhance multi culturalism of India and Hong Kong. The Fiesta will highlight India’s culture, traditions and heritage. It will include a variety of performances in music, dance, and theatre, as well as exhibitions, cuisine, and Indian Cinema.”
