Honeywell Provides Integrated Automation Solutions To Korea Gas Corporation’s Terminals

Bengaluru: Ascendas, Asia’s premier business space provider, concluded its annual Green Month campaign at International Tech Park Bangalore (ITPB) on Friday, 1 July, 2011. The month long green celebrations completed today on a high with an energized music concert by city based band ‘Bourbon Street. The band enthralled the audience with an eclectic performance playing Jazz, Blues & Original Carnatic Fusion music.
During month long Go – green campaign ITPB employees participated in weekly theme based activities such as ‘Tree plantation week’, ‘Eco-drive week’, ‘Eco-bazaar week’, and ‘Green ideas week’. The Go-green event is a mix of fun activities focused on environment awareness.
Companies at ITPB joined hands in planting about 80 new trees across the park to further enhance the verdant landscape of ITPB. ITPB currently has more than 100 species of exotic, indigenous, perennial and flowering plants.
A workshop on terrace gardening was also organized for parkties during the week.
This week saw display of environment friendly vehicles at ITPB. A free emission test and vehicle check up camp will also be organized for the parkites. More than 120 vehicles emission test was during the camp.
Eco Bazaar week showcased a variety of eco-friendly products, ranging from organic food to home décor items made from natural fiber, organic fragrances and body care products, jute bags and accessories and other energy saving products including energy efficient electronic products.
In this week parkites participated in a ‘Junk art’ and ‘Photography contest’ to express their ideas of “Go green, live green”. The theme for this year’s green idea week was ‘Nature and Me’.
