  • In an effort to contribute to the flood-affected people in Srinagar flood, Iskcon Food Relief Foundation has sent over 50,000 packets In an effort to contribute to the flood-affected people in Srinagar flood, Iskcon Food Relief Foundation has sent over 50,000 packets puris and sabzi for the victims in the last two days, which can sufficiently feed over 10,000 people.

    Iskcon food Relief Foundation, World’s largest vegetarian mass meal programme will set up a kitchen in Srinagar in the next 24 hours to facilitate adequate healthy and hygienic food for the affected people.

    Mr. Sanjay Tikku, Director, IFRF says “While the defence forces have intensified their rescue operations, it is of utmost importance to supply sufficient food to the trapped victims. However, despite distributing several tonnes of food items, there is still an acute shortage of food in the flood affected areas. In our endeavor, we’re also trying to set up a kitchen in order to be able to facilitate healthy and hygienic food to the affected people. In the meantime, we have sent food for over 10,000 people in the last 2 days and will continue doing so till our kitchen is operational”
