LetsVote today unanimously elected Prof K Subbarangayya as the National Convenor of LetsVote organization. He takes over this responsibility from J A Chowdary who resigned from this position in Lets Vote.

The EGM of Lets vote in its meeting held on March 24, 2014, appreciated Mr. J A Chowdary for his relentless drive, passion and contributions for the electoral reforms, voter education programs. He was further praised for his great networking activity that helped to associate various organizations, corporate to contribute for the cause of Lets Vote. Later the members accepted the resignation with immediate effect.

“Let’s Vote” – a strong 30 voluntary members initiative is aimed at helping the citizens of our nation to find their voice, exercise their right, and contribute to positive development outcomes. The NGO’s mission is to Engage and educate the citizens, build awareness, ‘exercising their vote’ and thus ensuring development and global sustainability.

Each one of us has a certain level of social responsibility and we hold significant stake in making the world go around us better. This responsibility encompasses a number of things. One of the most important commitments among them is to vote. So go ahead and vote is what LetsVote message.

“Prof K Subbarangayya brings an enormous amount of talent,” said JA Chowdary, .  “His background as a founding member of the organization and having been part of many events that LetsVote organised since its inception will be a great asset to us as the LetsVote continues to bridge the gaps for expanding new registered voter base throughout the nation through its awareness and registration campaigns.”

After taking charge of his new position Prof K Subbarangayya said we still have a long journey to travel as we pursue our mission to ensure that every citizen in our country has a voter ID card. We also strive to increase the voting %  in Andhrapradesh.

Vote is a powerful way to express our aspiration. It is our social responsibility and by engaging in it we can build faith in our decision to choose what makes our lives better.

In his new role Prof K Subbarangayya role will involve leading the LetsVote Team stakeholder relations efforts, which includes developing and coordinating stakeholder outreach across all community sectors and developing strategies to help the organization maximize the value of its engagement with and in the communities it serves.
