That led his photography to grow as a brand, “J S Dillon photography.” Across North Carolina, he has shown his excellence as a one-of-a-kind photographer, shooting for various social events and weddings. He is also well known for his exciting and immaculate concepts and skills in shooting portraits. J S Dillon confessed in his interview that he has always felt a close inclination towards all things creative, and photography was one thing that his heart clung to. This made him the Indian talent to realize his passion and true calling, and thus he began focusing all his energies on it.

 He recalls that he started taking pictures when the first digital camera of 1 megapixel came; his first camera was Sony small point, and he used to shoot with it. Then in 2011, he purchased a Nikon 7000 SLR and learned the basics of it with local photographers then. How in 2013, he began doing photography professionally and continuously honed his skills, getting trained by other photographers and working as an assistant to a specific photographer. So far, his portfolio has seen some of the biggest names in the modeling world, like Kate Malone, Astrid Kallsen, and Willa Prescott, who have published models in prominent magazines.
