  • Jet Airways to Connect Ahmedabad, Mangalore and Pune to Abu Dhabi and beyond

    Mumbai: Jet Airways, India’s premier international airline, is set to launch daily international Jet-Airwaysflights from Ahmedabad, Pune, and Mangalore, to Abu Dhabi.

    Starting today, 29 March, the new services will strengthen Jet Airways’ growing international network and offer connections to destinations in the Gulf and beyond to North America, Europe and Africa with its strategic partner, Etihad Airways.

    It is the first time that Jet Airways has offered international flights from Ahmedabad and Pune.

    Raj Sivakumar, Jet Airways’ Chief Commercial Officer, said: “It is a proud moment for Jet Airways to launch these new daily services from Ahmedabad, Pune and Mangalore to Abu Dhabi, a renowned international hub which will open up access to dozens of key destinations around the world.

    “The new services will help ensure Jet Airways is the preferred carrier by air travellers in these cities given our unparalleled domestic network and an ever-expanding international footprint.”

    Jet Airways currently operates daily flights each day from Delhi, Kochi, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Goa to Abu Dhabi and double daily from Mumbai.

    Guests travelling onwards from the UAE’s capital city to the United States all access the US Preclearance at Abu Dhabi airport enabling them arrive in the US as domestic passengers and avoiding having to queue at immigration upon arrival.

    Jet Airways is currently the only private Indian airline to operate over 50 daily flights to multiple destinations in the Gulf.

    This network includes daily departures to Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Dubai, Doha, Kuwait, Sharjah, Muscat, Jeddah, Dammam and Riyadh, making the airline the largest operator between India and the Gulf.

    The airline will deploy a Boeing 737-800 Next Generation (NG) aircraft on the Ahmedabad, Mangalore, and Pune routes.

    The aircraft have a capacity of 12 seats in Premiere class and 156 seats in Economy class.
