  • ‘Kingfisher Supermodels 2’ crowns Aastha Pokharel as the winner Gets direct entry to ‘The Kingfisher Calendar 2015’

    This year’s hunt is over and the verdict for the finale of ‘Kingfisher Aastha 2Supermodels 2’ is out, only on NDTV Good Times, India’s youngest lifestyle channel. After a series of challenging and interesting photographic tasks and intense competition, Aastha Pokharel has won the ultimate crown and the opportunity to be a part of the popular ‘Kingfisher Calendar 2015’.

     ‘Kingfisher Supermodels 2’ started with 10 girls, different talents and different attitudes, but all with one goal to be the next Calendar Girl. With tough tasks and even tougher judges, these girls didn’t have it easy and after weeks of hard work, the finale of the show zeroed in to top 4 models. The 13 episode series saw models performing exhilarating tasks such as The Indian Ride, Wrecking Ball, PETA Go Vegan, Typography, Aerial etc. shot by famous fashion photographers and the finale task by ace photographer Atul Kasbekar. The judges who sealed the fate of this year’s winner also included Bollywood actor Amit Sadh with mentor Neha Dhupia.

    An introvert by nature, Aastha Pokharel started modeling at the age of 19. She is the perfect blend of creativity with brains. Expressing her excitement, Aastha said “The whole experience of the show will be a lifelong memory for me. It is a dream come true to have made it as the winner of this year’s Kingfisher Supermodels and be part of the Kingfisher Calendar 2015.
